You will be taken on an exciting journey through the turbulent waters of the coast, where the great cultures of Mesopotamia were born. Southeast Anatolia is a region of contrasts: it has majestic mountains, azure lakes and ancient cities that have kept secrets for thousands of years.

The Euphrates River is 2,800 km long, and 1,263 km of that is in Turkey. It is an important river, and a historical legend. Each wave here connects us to the past, to other times and civilisations.

Your first day starts with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a transfer to the starting point of an exciting adventure near the ancient city of Zeugma, the legendary center of ancient Mesopotamia, famous for its mosaics and rich history. If you want, we can organize a tour here so you can experience the history of the place

The route leads to the unique location of the sunken city of Halfeti, where time seems to have stopped and old buildings are hidden under the water. Those brave enough can explore the underwater part of this mystical city

Your journey continues through ancient caves and historical monuments, revealing the beauty of Southeast Anatolia, ending at the Ataturk Dam. A comfortable transfer to your hotel the DoubleTree by Hilton Sanliurfa

On the end of second day, we will see the Nissibi Bridge, an amazing piece of architecture that connects the banks of the Euphrates. Here, you will feel free in the open spaces and amazed by the beauty of nature

After a busy day, you can relax and recharge your batteries in an atmosphere of modern comfort and oriental hospitality at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Diyarbakır

Day 2
